To find out how our website has evolved – continue reading
If you have been to our site before you will notice that things are a little different. For the rest of you here for the first time, we hope you find our new format easy to navigate.
This format is actually very flexible and quite intuitive once you start to use it. Basically, the entire site is broke up into THREE types of areas.
- PAGES (on the very top) – Pages are the fixed narratives that inform you the reader about primary aspects of our organization. These are things that don’t change that often – things like contact information, missions statements, general backgrounders on various aspects of our organization.
- POSTS (grouped as CATEGORIES on the side) – Posts are the rolling dairy of different things being added to the website. These range from EVENTS to COMMENTARY and more than likely these categories often overlap. The primary place to start is WHAT’S HAPPENING – here the newest POSTS are at the top and by clicking on any HEADLINE you can read more about that POST to see what they are talking about. To make things even more fun, each post may be tagged with multiple categories so navigating through the categories menu on the side can produce the most sorted results for you.
- COMMENTS - This is where we can have the most fun with this site – feedback. Typically, each post will provide an area to add your own comment regarding that post. In fact, if we are writing about things while they are still a bit open ended – we would ask for your ideas and help shape the concept some more. In either case, this added ability should create a fuller round table of discussion.
So that is about it – click around and get a feel for things – we are sure that you will find things easy to get at. Should you not, you can always leave a comment on this page to let us know.
